Join Iowa Valley RC&D January 12th for our Homegrown Brunch. Gather with us to begin the new year and celebrate Iowa’s bounty.

About Homegrown Brunch

Get cozy. Wear flannel. Eat brunch. Enjoy farm-fresh ingredients served brunch-style. Gather with us to support good food, good people, and strong communities. The Brunch is a celebration of local family farms, food hubs, farmers markets, and those who are helping to transform Iowa’s food system. Ingredients are locally-sourced from area producers and prepared by The Hotel at Kirkwood Chef Joshua Spalding.

Choose your brunch wisely, because your neighbor won’t be willing to share!

  • The Old Cap Scramble: Tofu Scramble with Harvest Veggies, Toast & Jam
  • The Meadowlark: Buckwheat Pancakes with Apple Compote and Fresh Whipped Cream, Breakfast Sausage
  • The Early Morning: Mini Frittatas with Black Beans and Cheesy Grits

Yogurt parfait and mini muffins will be available on your table along with coffee, juice, milk, and water. Ticket price includes one complimentary breakfast cocktail. Additional beverages available for purchase.
