Basic COVID-19 Signage for Iowa Farmers Markets (Updated June 15, 2020)
As the state reopens and restrictions are eased, Iowa farmers markets are implementing COVID-19 prevention best practices to ensure the health and safety of staff, volunteers, vendors, and customers.
We’ve updated the below batch of COVID-19 market signage to aid market managers in communicating market operations and expectations to customers. Spanish versions are now available here!
We’ve included the most common guidelines (social distance, masks, hand sanitizer, etc.) that farmers markets are integrating into their operations this season, plus a few examples of specialized signage for markets that have implemented drive-thru and/or pick-up services. In a few cases, we’ve also provided alternate wording so that markets may choose the most appropriate message.
The signs are un-branded so that any Iowa farmers market manager can download, print, and display. Signage is available in four colors: black, green, orange, and teal. Signs may be downloaded by clicking on the images and links below.
